Proxy Form (AGM)

What is a Proxy Form (AGM) and when should you use it?

Any member of a company entitled to attend and vote at an annual general meeting (AGM) of the company is entitled to appoint another person as their proxy to attend the meeting.

A proxy is a person nominated by the member to attend the AGM and to exercise the members vote on their behalf.

A proxy has the same right as the member that appointed them, to attend, to speak and to vote at the AGM.

However, a proxy has no right to chair the meeting.

The appointment of a Proxy must be in writing and must be signed by the member.

You can use this Proxy Form to do that.

The appointment must be furnished to the company at least 48 hours prior to the AGM.
