What is a grievance hearing invitation letter and when should you use it?

 

Use this letter to request an employee who has made a formal complaint or grievance to attend a grievance hearing to discuss the specifics of his/her grievance.

The purpose of the hearing is to gain a better understanding of the reasons for the grievance so that you can form a view on the nature of the grievance and on any further actions that should follow.
